Kennesaw State Foundation introduces its newest Board of Trustees members

(October 2, 2000) The Kennesaw State University Foundation is proud to announce the election of the newest members of the Board of Trustees. The mission of the trustees is to be advocates for the university, and to receive, invest, account for, and allocate private gifts and contributions in support of Kennesaw State University.

The Foundation is an independent charitable foundation that accepts tax-deductible gifts on behalf of the university. Private support provides the Margin of Excellence in serving the students and faculty of the University, and in providing support for initiatives not eligible for state funding. Current priorities include raising awareness and private support for a performance center, an athletic complex, a bell tower, and strengthening the endowment (which provides scholarship assistance).
