1/16/01 Debate: "Resolved: The fight against terrorism justifies curbs on civil liberties" The program, Saturday, Jan. 31, is part of Kennesaw State University's Chautauqua Lecture Series and features former U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese debating Nadine Strossen, professor of law at New York Law School and president of the American Civil Liberties Union. The debate begins at 8 p.m. in the James V. Carmichael Student Center University Rooms. It is free and open to the public.
