Worldspan's Jesse Liebman accepts post on board of KSU's Coles College of Business

Jesse Liebman, senior vice president -- strategic planning for Worldspan, has agreed to serve on the board of directors of the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. He joins an elite group of prominent business leaders from across the southeast on the Coles College board.

"As a senior executive with one of Georgia's -- and the world's -- top technology companies, Jesse Liebman represents the 21st-century thinking and leadership skills that Coles College strives to instill in our students," said Coles College Dean Tim Mescon, who also holds the Dinos Eminent Scholar Chair of Entrepreneurial Management. "Mr. Liebman is a master strategist. The Coles College is actively involved in recrafting strategic direction, consistent with accreditation guidelines. We look forward to utilizing Jesse's many talents as we pursue these new strategic initiatives."

Previously, he served as senior vice president and general manager -- worldwide travel supplier services for Worldspan, responsible for building the company's portfolio of travel supplier participants.

Before joining Worldspan in 1992 as vice president of planning and business development, Liebman held executive positions in corporate planning with United Technologies Corp., Continental Airlines and Trans World Airlines. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and an MBA from Columbia University.
