Chautauqua Lecture Series featuring James Dale
Dales's topic is "Gay Rights, the Boy Scouts and the U.S. Supreme Court."

Who:
Dale spent 12 years as both a Boy Scout -- achieving the rank of Eagle
Scout -- and an assistant scoutmaster, until he was expelled in 1990 for
being gay. His case against the Boy Scouts was taken to the Supreme Court
where the justices ruled 5-4 that the Scouts could exclude homosexuals
due to the Scouts' right of "free association." The Chautauqua Lecture
Series is sponsored by Kennesaw State University's Kampus Activities Board
(KAB).
