Sightler has been named Director of the Career Growth Master of Business Administratio and Master of Accounting (MAcc) programs at the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. He will also lead the Coles College effort for reaffirmation of accreditation by AACSB International -- the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. "Kevin is an important scholar and an excellent administrator," says Tim Mescon, dean of the Coles College of Business. "We know that his leadership will add great value to the Coles College and the associates who participate in the programs." On the KSU faculty since 1990, Sightler teaches graduate courses in management, leadership and workplace behavior. He has published research on entrepreneurial performance, self-defeating behaviors, and the behavioral aspects of mergers and acquisitions. He also has industry experience in information systems and health care. Sightler earned his undergraduate degree, masters and Ph.D. from Clemson University. The Career Growth MBA program, Georgia's second largest MBA program, prepares associates for management and leadership positions in corporate, government, not-for-profit, or entrepreneurial ventures. It is ideal for those wishing to obtain an MBA without career interruption. Classes meet weekly in morning, evening or weekend sessions.
